Eczema Friendly Smoothie

This tropical tasting eczema friendly smoothie will make you feel like you are on holidays, no matter where you are. It also provides your body with a whole lot of nutritional goodness that your skin will tingle with joy when drinking it! We love adding flax seed’s to our smoothies, especially knowing that our bodies will receive valuable Omega-3’s that the flax seed’s provide; oh and a few mint leaves for freshness just makes this smoothie so delicious!


1-2 Organic Banana’s
Organic Rice milk (sugar, additive and preservative free)
½ an Organic Papaya
Organic Flaxseed oil
Organic Flaxseeds (Golden if possible)
1-2 fresh Mint leaves (organic or home grown)

Optional: Organic Rice protein powder, source the pure rice blends that have no sweeteners or other items that are not pure foods.


Peel the banana’s and the papaya, also de-seed the papaya, then place in the blender. Add one tablespoon of flaxseed oil and if adding protein, add 1 tablespoon of rice protein powder. Pour over enough rice milk to make 1-2 cups and then blend until smooth. Sprinkle the top with flaxseeds and some shredded mint (if your eczema is mild) for that lovely fresh taste on your palate.
